This safari lodge has become a popular camping site. These luxury tented safari camps are located approximately 310 kilometers away from the Bandaranaike International Airport. Mahoora also provides well-maintained jeeps to go on safaris accompanied by a naturalist. A stay at this safari lodge increases the chances of spotting a leopard. These tents are equipped with star class hotel facilities. They consist of private bathrooms with hot water facilities, toiletries, etc. There are nightly campfires. Free Wi-Fi access is provided in public areas. Charging points are available in these tents. Air conditioning is not available. Mosquito nets and fans are available at these tents. How to Get There

The hotel has a transfer desk that can provide transfer facilities to the airport at a cost.

You may pre-arrange an Epic Sri Lanka Holidays chauffeur facility for your arrival and departure transfers to and from the airport or to and from any point in the country. From the Bandaranaike International airport, it will take you approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes by road to travel 310km distance to the hotel. If you do utilize theEpic Sri Lanka Holidays Chauffeur facility you may also request to retain the chauffer throughout your stay in Sri Lanka at an attractive cost.

Alternatively, for a quicker transfer, you may request Epic Sri Lanka Holidays to arrange combined air and road transfers. Approx. 45 minutes Scheduled domestic flights are available from the Bandaranaike International airport and Colombo Waters Edge to Hambantota. Thereafter it is a 1 hour and 45 minutes transfer by road from Hambantota to Mahoora Safari Camp Yala.

We are also able to arrange for you exclusive private helicopter transfers (up to 4 passengers at a time) from any point in the country directly to your hotel or nearest helipad.
