The first floor of the Black Cat Stay is a space of affordable accommodation for people who wish to stay a few days, right above the charming cafe.
There are 5 types of rooms available – King room 1, king room 2, king room 3, king room 4 and twin room 5. All rooms are spacious and suitable for people looking for a place with a budget. En-suite bathrooms, A/C, four poster king size beds and hot water are featured in the rooms. King room 3 and 4 are bigger and welcome people travelling with their children, as there is space for a spare bed/mattress. There is a private and separate entrance for guests, which is convenient for guests to come and go on their volition.
It is perfect for those who want to explore the city of Colombo and it is a short drive to Colombo Fort where one can witness the colonial buildings that was once an essential part of old Ceylon; it is within a walking distance to Odel, Sri Lanka’s premier department store; Viharamahadevi Park and Independence Square are all within close proximity.

How to Get There

The hotel has a transfer desk that can provide transfer facilities to the airport at a cost.

You may pre-arrange an Epic Sri Lanka Holidays chauffeur facility for your arrival and departure transfers to and from the airport or to and from any point in the country. From the Bandaranaike International airport, it will take you approximately 1 hour by road to travel 33.2km distance to the hotel. If you do utilize the Epic Sri Lanka Holidays Chauffeur facility you may also request to retain the chauffeur throughout your stay in Sri Lanka at an attractive cost.

Alternatively, for a quicker transfer, you may request Epic Sri Lanka Holidays to arrange combined air and road transfers. Approx. 15 minutes Scheduled domestic flights are available from the Bandaranaike International airport to Diyawanna Oya. Thereafter it is a 30 minutes transfer by road from Diyawanna Oya to Jetwing Colombo Seven.

If you wish to view the beautiful landscapes of Sri Lanka from the skies, an exclusive private helicopter transfer (up to 4 passengers at a time) from any point in the country directly to your hotel or nearest helipad can be arranged.
